What if fights

The fight ends in a resounding victory as Vegeta unleashes a Galick Gun against Frieza that fells the Emperor once and for all. This admittedly hilarious what-if saga comes from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai , where Krillin pushes Android 18 out of the way and ends up getting absorbed by Cell.

The result is Cellin — a fighter that is extremely weak and is barely able to win against Yamcha, before being obliterated with a Tri-Beam from Tien. The icing on the cake comes from the fact that this scenario was actually a dream Cell had while waiting for the Cell Games to start. It's an excellent arc, with one of the highlights being Future Trunks' battle against Super Buu.

The latter half of this arc revolves around Future Trunks going back in the past to get reinforcements and fight against this threat, which lets familiar characters come back to the mix as well. Broly's character might've been fleshed out with his retcon in Dragon Ball Super , but there was a time when this character was nothing more than an out-of-control beast. Supersonic Warriors 2 decided to do justice by this character where Broly lands harshly on Earth, loses his memory, and becomes a friend of Mr.

Satan enrolls Broly, where he sees Goku and gets his memory back. He proceeds to fight against Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, beating them all to a pulp. However, before he can land the finishing blow, Mr. Satan reasons with him and manages to calm Broly down.

By Ritwik Mitra Published Feb 18, Now, I'm going to explain to you how I scale things. Let's say that with the example of Nappa, he's 7, and Goku is 8, The reason why I made them so close is because after Nappa calmed down, he was fighting nearly on par with Goku.

I also having scaling based off of how Vegeta went from being Zarbon's plaything on Namek to being able to have the slight advantage due to battle instinct and ultimately defeat him, with an at best 1, PL difference between him and Zarbon. With that in mind, in difference seems enough for me to say that Goku has the slight advantage, but not enough so that he's going to be able to exploit Nappa on a weakness not including his tendancy to get angry when being defeated.

With that information out of the way, let's get into your comments. For Gohan, I used official numbers from Daizenshuu 7. I didn't really, Gohan was able to get a great amount of damage at least for where he was power scaling wise without rage boost on Second Form Frieza, and that's what I based it off of. You're correct when Third Form Frieza was able to resist him, as I made sure that Gohan's rage boost didn't break the million mark before he got a Zenkai. I may add him being enraged after getting a Zenkai, but we'll see.

Alright, fair enough. I'll see if I can tweak it around since them jumping that high in three years from the Trunks Saga to the Androids Saga will be sure to have at least some people disagreeing with it. I decided to make Goku have the advantage here because of how he seemingly always did and because he'd have to get some substantial boost from training with two people for three years regardless of how much more stronger he was compared to them in his Super Saiyan form.

I decided to make Piccolo that high based off of Krillin's statement of him nearly being as powerful as a Super Saiyan, which made sense to me because of how he had trained with a Super Saiyan for three whole years. Alright alright, I'll make the difference a little bit wider between the two cyborg siblings, and I guess that does make sense, so I'll tweak those around as well.

I don't think I remember Goku or Piccolo meantioning anything about how strong he needed to get to be able to take on Cell, at least from what I read.

Also, the reason why Goku and Gohan came out so much stronger than Vegeta and Trunks is because they focused on maximizing their given forms, which still did drain energy and thus gained mastery of the form and a lot of power at their disposal.

Vegeta and Trunks on the other hand focused on more "buffing" forms to ascend beyond Super Saiyan that drained energy even faster, with the second buff having a major drawback in speed. Or you could just give the elementery argument of it being plot convenience, but oh well. Yeah, I can see where you're coming from for Gohan to be getting angry.

I'll see if I can tweak it a bit. I suppose I can buff Piccolo up a good bit, but I decided to put Gohan where he was because it seemed like if I was to go any lower for his base form, it'd seem like far too much at least to me. Yamcha did get weaker in those seven years, as did Krillin, but I can make the amount he goes down by less.

To be honest, I believed that the Kiri readings weren't really all that accurate for me to scale with this list, so I didn't use them. Because they were prodigies for their age. They're the youngest Super Saiyans ever, and I thought that because of that, they would be able to achieve what Vegeta and Trunks did with some consistent training Frieza in Resurrection F is a great example. Eh, I didn't think that Gohan went down that much in the time range of three to four years.

And thank you, it took a little bit of screwing around with percentages to get a final conclusion. I'll reference my scaling that I said I'm using for this list earlier, but I guess that Vegeta did in fact get a Zenkai boost from his bout with Beerus, so I can tweak his power a bit. I suppose that's fair, from what I saw it seemed like Frieza and Goku were actually on par with eachother in Super.

However, I can nerf First Form Frieza down, seeing as how it probably is too much. And yeah, it was a shot in the dark to guess just how much stronger Vados actually is compared to Whis, so I just went with a solid educated guess. Pretty sure Bardock in the special had a slightly higher power level than King Vegeta so Bardock.

Vegeta after zenkai was like 2 million or 2. Super Perfect Cell would win if he knows about Dabura's spit because of his regeneration and I assume Dabura is only as strong as normal Perfect Cell.

Depends on power level of Vegeta if it's 2 million he would lose but if it's 2. Plus Piccolo has way more experience but I would go for Goten after Hyperbolic Time Chamber because I think he has more strength than Piccolo even if Piccolo had more experience.

Turles would win after he eats the fruit, Goku used kaioken times 20, Goku couldn't use Kaioken times 20 until his power of 3 million I think.

And Goku used Kaioken times 20 meaning Turles' power level after eating the fruit should be over 60 million. This has held true deep into Dragon Ball Super and will likely remain the case so long as Goku stays the face of the franchise.

His actions and ideals often save the day, but Dragon Ball makes it a point for Goku to taste defeat. Being the franchise protagonist is sometimes the only thing that keeps Goku from sure defeat. Due to his telekinesis, Blue manages to paralyze all three characters. Goku survives solely because General Blue is deeply disgusted by rats.

When it comes down to it, though, this is still a narrative contrivance and an assassin like Tao Pai Pai likely would have ensured his kill. Goku suffers a very similar fate against Demon King Piccolo, albeit without the narrative luxury of a Dragon Ball. Piccolo manages to beat Goku into submission, even stopping his heart in the process.

Unlike Tao Pai Pai, Piccolo even takes the time to make sure Goku is dead — listening in for a heartbeat. When Demon King Piccolo hears nothing, he flies off… only for Goku to suddenly regain his heartbeat. He was effectively dead with his heart stopped, only for it to randomly start back up. It makes for tense storytelling, but sloppily so in the grand scheme of things.

To be fair, Goku does actually lose to Vegeta in their first major fight — but only in the sense he loses the battle, not the war. Thanks to pushing Kaioken to x4, Goku is able to overwhelm Vegeta with a Kamehameha that nearly kills the Elite Saiyan.
