Why 2009 remix

I've also only listened to it a couple times. May have to work on that…. The Circus??? Dude, have you listened to it? Listen to the Fake Blood post I did a while back. There is nothing 'horror' about his sweet dance tunes.

Decent list holmes. I would have switched a couple things around, maybe added a few, or replaced a few:. Good list though, this was just my interpretation of it, I mean you're the one with the blog. Funny thing is that both those remixes are on my Slow Burn Summer Mix.

And that bass just speaks to me : And as much as I love that Kids At the Bar remix I couldn't in good put a Sleepyhead remix on the list. An epic jam but I had reached capacity by the time Manners came out.

Anyway, I don't imagine you wanted a full explanation but there it is. You just happened to pick 3 remixes I have specific opinions on.

But thanks for dropping in with your two cents, it's always interesting to see the favorites of other people with similar tastes. Ahhh, yes, a good remix but not one of my favorites. And besides, it's pre Respect on the lengthy explanation, I will admit it is the best response to anything I have posted on the world wide's music blogs.

I mean, I have dropped my fair share of 2 cent'rs on PMA and it generates nada. Anyway, I agree with the Fake Blood bassline. That dude is a master. And I also agree with the Sleepyhead decision, now that you have cleared the point, it may be a bit of a dated track regardless of when KATB cut it up into a dance floor grinder. Lastly, keep up the good work dude.

I do my best to not leave any of Team TBE hanging. I too have left many an un-responded-too comment and don't want to be like that.

Especially if you are gonna throw some praise my way. Why not bask in that with a little comment thread, right? Haha, I kid, but seriously, your support means a lot! I only discovered it this past summer—great remix song-falke seems to be one of the best out there right now. I also dig the Filthy dukes remix he did that u posted a while back. Yeah, Falke is pretty on point. Sometimes his remixes wander a bit long but otherwise good stuff!

Kelly Clarkson Vs. Ozzy Osbourne Vs. Pink Vs. I gave it a few spins because everyone seemed to be looooving it last year but it just never grabbed me. I also don't think dubstep is my thing. Oh well. Thanks for the thought, though :. Oh and Tits and Clits remix of We are the People. I figured since Scott posted on here I couldn't let him forget a couple. Brandon this is maybe my favorite blog and I dig your list.

Man that dude is killin it! Yeah, RAC just knows what he is doing. Straight up. It's been interesting to follow him for a bit now and see his style evolve, etc. I've never heard it so anyone who wants to hook a brutha up should feel free.

Stumbled across this blog last week and its been my saviour during the crunch end-of-semester period.

Great to hear! Glad to provide some jams during tough study times. Stay tuned for the second half of lists! The Andres Anjos remix of Kings of Leon is awesome. I would have switched a couple things around, maybe added a few, or replaced a few: Miike Snow-Animal Treasure Fingers Remix Phoenix-Lisztomania Classixx Remix Passion Pit-Sleepyhead Neo Tokyo Remix or the Kids at the Bar Remix Shit, if any of these dropped in 08 then call me old fashioned haha Good list though, this was just my interpretation of it, I mean you're the one with the blog.

Hmmm, I gotta track down those first two…. Yeah, Gigamesh is always solid. Lammas Fair by Henry Parker. Singer-songwriter Henry Parker puts his own spin on the classic sounds of '60s and '70s British folk on this wilderness-inspired new LP.

Coxswain by Routine Layup. Wry songs from this Washington artist that recall the homespun charm of early Mountain Goats. Give Me Time by Cereus Bright. The Brooklyn group Aisle Knot writes hushed, mysterious songs that are charmingly rickety and grounded in surefooted melodies. Bandcamp Daily your guide to the world of Bandcamp.
